Mother-son Duo: Rachael & Riley at the 2022 Oregon Wine Experience Grand Tasting
We recently had the honor of participating in the Oregon Wine Experience, which celebrates the state’s unrivaled wines, paired with mouthwatering culinary creations unique to only Oregon. Since its inception, Oregon Wine Experience has raised more than $10.4 million, benefiting the Asante Children’s Miracle Network program and other health care programs at Asante. 100% of the event’s proceeds benefit charity, every year. This was the first year back in-person since COVID for the Oregon Wine Experience, and it was also a brand-new location compared to years past.
This year, Oregon Wine Experience was able to raise 2.2 million dollars for children’s healthcare. It’s always incredible seeing the community come together and make a difference. We feel lucky to live in an area that recognizes how important it is to give back.
We would like to congratulate all those who participated and earned medals this year, including our very own Rachael Martin, who took home 4 silver medals for her Red Lily Tempranillo, Red Blanket Tempranillo, Lily Girl Rose, and Stargazer Lily Verdejo.
We were only able to participate in the Grand Tasting this year due to the Keeler Creek fire, which was ~100 yard off our property line. Hoping next year, we have better luck and can be at all the other amazing days.
